The aryballos has a nearly spherical body crushed in the foot, a short neck and a small ribbon handle that binds almost the lip to the shoulder near the neck. Its surface presents a free decoration on a clear deep end with the presence (on the major background) of a mermaid and a fowl of a crimson/hearty green colour. The spaces not covered by the figures are filled with little roses and vegetable patterns, while both the neck and the lip are decorated with drop-shaped patterns.
