SHORT DESCRIPTION:

The books left by the scholar today is of about 2000 volumes. it includes works published between the XVI and the late XIX Century. The great part of those belonging to the ancient body are of a religious nature, but there are also some remarkable rarities of a great historical, natural and cultural value in general. The works dating back to the XIX Century are a compendium of the natural and agricultural Sicilian and Italian production of the time.

The manuscripts are mostly copies of the works of Minà Palumbo ready for the publication. Correspondence: It consists of about 1,400 letters from the members of the Sicilian, Italian and European scientific culture; academies and associations to which the researcher adhered to; administrative state, municipal and district apparatus. A small section contains letters to Louis Failla Tedaldi.
