Museo Naturalistico di Gratteri

Currently under construction, the museum contains some collections of stuffed animals, entomological collection of minerals, fossils and archaeological finds, ethno-anthropological section.

The museum was created in 1990 when the municipalitu acquired about 100 stuffed animals that were integrated with the entomological collection given to the authority by Dr.Vittorio Aliquo’ and with the archaeological artefacts found inside in the Abbey of Saint George. Nowadays, the museum  is waiting to be transferred to a new place.
